My Rover 820 Vitesse needs to go having too many projects with a new kitchen to pay for. I bought it in December 2023. For the MOT it had both front wheel bearing changed new clutch master cylinder and bled the system new timing belt and a fair bit of welding to get the body strong and useable again.
It drives well pulls like a train nice older car to drive and will definitely keep up with modern traffic.
The bad points like most Rovers 800’s the electric widows are temperamental the 2 that works properly are the drivers side front and rear whereas the passenger side windows go down with the drivers switch pack but needs to be put up with the relevant door switch. The body work is ok but not concourse.
It’s not a daily driver but I use it regularly to keep it ticking over as of such.
Recent jobs are spark plugs, rocker cover gaskets and temperature transmitter changed. New leads were to be done but the set bought were incorrect for application oh happy days.
