Just come in from Sunny California this rock solid 68 driver coupe. Literally just been painted in mirror finish raven black. MOT & Road Tax exempt. Exterior decor group. California car often considered more desirable.
Made in San Jose and sold at Skyway Ford in Los Angeles then went up to Washington state then back down to California.
Last owner 16 years, was a daily driver in California so could be here. Will have alignment, UK registration and a 12-month MOT. Since it’s been here it’s been repainted, had two axle seals, 4 shock absorbers, upper lower control arms, stabiliser links, sway bar links, coil spring isolator, turn signals, horn and emergency flasher now working, Willwood disc brake kit fitted with 500 odd miles on it, wiper blades. Very good quality used black interior fitted.

Has a large folder of receipts for previoyus works carried out.
All original Sheetmetal, absolutely zero rust beautiful underneath (will take some pictures on the ramp when can get to it). Engine: Has a large cammed 302 (270 lift) with the receipts for the engine work carried out in Washington State. Roller rockers, refinished valve covers, good quality engine parts used by the receipt. Weiand intake, Edelbrock carb with electronic choke, electronic ignition.
Rear End: Posi drive (unsure of gearing as the tags for an open rear end)
Brakes: Willwood front disc kit just fitted with 500 odd miles on it.
Cooling: Standard V8 cooling system in good working order
Transmission: Was just rebuild in California (will have an ATF change before its sold)
Steering & Suspension: Stock height has just had new upper and lower control arms, stabiliser links, sway bar links, coil spring isolator, 4 x shock absorbers. Has power steering (not fitted currently comes with it that could be fitted).
Steering wheel not included in sale will come with a standard 14" grant one or if you want the one in the pitures its £200.
