1999 BMW 7 Series E38 740i M Sport Auto
Very desirable spec, getting hard to find genuine M Sport models. This one has the cream M Sport interior with electric pull out seats, Television / Navigation with disc still in the boot, 6CD changer, Armrest Nokia phone, M Sport multifunction steering wheel, M Parallel 18" Alloy wheels etc
Its a late 740i so has the fantastic M62 4. 4L V8, makes just short of 300hp. They are great engines and easy to work on
The bodywork needs attention, there are various rust bubbles that have been painted over and some dents as shown. The underside is nice and solid, its had some welding done before around the rear jacking points which has been done to a good standard
The interior is really smart, the M Sport seats are much nicer than the normal E38 seats. The original mats are in fantastic condition - they must have been covered up for years. It also has a complete toolkit, first aid kit and torch in the glovebox. All the manuals and leather bookpack are present too
Runs and drives spot on. It has plenty of power, sounds great. Doesnt clunk or knock over bumps. The fuel tank is good, doesnt have any leaks there at all. It still has its originals cats. The airbag light has come on since being mot'd, so that needs looking at
Passenger front window regulator is iffy but still goes up and down
Wheels are in great condition and are genuine originals
Only had 6 previous owners across 26 years
Has 12 months MOT and is ready to drive away
