1980 Ford Granada Mk2 (prefacelift) 2. 8GL Auto UK car. 69, 000 miles and every MOT to certify mileage. Lots of documented history to accompany the car. Initially a Purley, Croydon based car. Owner 1: Midland Bank company car..(2 years) Owner 2: Bank Manager proceeded to buy his company car.. (23 years) Owner 3: (10 years) Owner 4: (10 years)... The Granada was last on the road having past it's MOT in December 2010 then it was stored away in a garage. In May 2015 it was purchased by it's 4th owner who was restoring a prefacelift Ghia and was looking for a 'donor car.' This GL was deemed far too good as a donor and in many respects was actually better than the Ghia itself. With an abundance of space available the 4th Owner just kept and stored this GL away in the dry. Now no longer needed and thus available is this UK spec 2. 8GL auto.
It runs and with it comes a pair of new discs and shoes. The very rear section of both sills need 'addressing' if not replacing and the top (upfacing) section of the rear interior seat is sun damaged. All the door cards are uncut, parcelshelf uncut and headlining is superb. The dashboard is very good with a minor 2cms split, all original radio etc.
