We are pleased to offer this superb Jaguar E-Type Cabriolet Series 1. 5 from 1968, powered by the 4. 2-litre engine. A true icon, the transitional model between Series 1 and Series 2, the Series 1. 5 was produced for only one year.
This example was delivered new to the United States in 1968 and was imported to France in 1993. The last owner bought it in 1999 and carried out a complete restoration of the bodywork, upholstery and mechanics between 2010 and 2014.
Clothed in an elegant Opalescent Silver Grey finish paired with a Bordeaux leather interior, the colour combination is superb. Its 4, 235 cm³ inline-six developing 265 hp is fed by three horizontal SU carburettors and paired with a four-speed manual gearbox.
