This Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE is a brawny American muscle car and is special because it's a track-focused version of the standard Camaro ZL1, featuring significant performance upgrades like a functional carbon-fiber rear wing, a redesigned front end with dive planes, wider Goodyear F1 Supercar 3R tires, and a lighter, more aggressive suspension with Multimatic spool-valve dampers. These enhancements resultred in superior aerodynamics, immense grip (achieving 1. 18 g's of lateral acceleration), and a 7:16 lap time at the Nürburgring, making it exceptionally fast for a production car and the fasted Camaro of all time.
Driven for less than 4, 000 miles and a rare sight this side of the Atlantic, it would make a natural addition to any American car collection, and promises to draw plenty of interest at any car show or event. This ZL1 1LE was part of the George Shinn Collection in the US.
Powered by a tuned 6. 2-litre supercharged ‘LT4’ V8, driving the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission delivering 750–780hp at the crank. This Camaro was originally delivered to the USA before being imported into NI, where it was re-registered in November 2022.
