Description
The car was first registered on 31/ 07/ 1952 in France by a private individual (sole owner) who used it as a family car for all trips. Over the years the car was used less and less and in the end it was decommissioned and kept inside the owner's farmhouse.
In October 2018 I carried out the on-site inspection to verify the car's condition, aided by SIMP (Association of Polish mechanical engineers and technicians). The checks conducted did not reveal structural and/ or irreparable problems, apart from the signs of wear and neglect. The only irreplaceable element was the upholstery, which will subsequently be replaced during the restoration.
On 17/ 10/ 2018 the car was purchased under a regular sale contract with SIMP acting as intermediary and transferred to Kalisz (Poland).
Subsequently the car underwent a complete restoration with maximum respect for the original characteristics.
The car underwent a thorough overhaul across electrical systems, engine, ignition, starting, cooling, brakes, steering, front and rear suspension, bodywork and equipment.
After the restoration, the car was subjected to an assessment by the Association of Engineers and Technical Engineers (SIMP. pl) in order to certify the car's condition and the quality of the restoration. Below is the summary of the issued document:

Based on the investigation carried out, it is concluded that the car in question is free of structural alterations and of stylistic or aesthetic modifications.
Based on the assessment of technical condition, completeness and originality, overall the vehicle's condition has been classified as Class 1 (perfect condition).
Based on the technical code of the International Federation of Veteran Vehicles (FIVA), the vehicle has been classified, regarding:
Vehicle category, as type A (standard)
Vehicle conservation status, in Group 3 (restored)
Age of the vehicle, in the class of historic vehicles of class E, i. e. vehicles produced between 1. 1. 1946 and 31. 12. 1960.

Taking into account the history of PEUGEOT cars, it is concluded that the car in question is of particular importance for the documentary history of motorisation and the enrichment of the stock of historically valuable vehicles in Poland.
The car satisfies the conditions for historic vehicles and after the positive opinion of the Conservator of historic monuments of the Voivodeship it may be recognised as a historic vehicle.”
As a result of this assessment, on 20/ 07/ 2021 the car was entered in the Register of Historic Technical Monuments of the National Heritage Institute in Warsaw, Science and Technology Division, as a collectible historic car.
On 11/ 08/ 2021 the car was registered, for the second and final time, in Poland
The car is eligible for the 1000 Miglia register.
