Description
Here I have to offer is my ultra rare 1973 Dodge Sportsman “BALBOA” RV Camper …. one of only 1, 300 made between 1970 to 1974.
Produced by JENSEN MARINE in Costa Mesa at the same production facility as the Cal20
sailboat. The rear fiberglass shell was
built using the same construction method as the sailboats and re known for its durable shell for being watertight and resistant to the sun.
This RV camper is water tight and has just under gone through a complete “PERIOD” interior refurbishment and tastefully finished to a high standard, new wheels and tyres, new “Dog Dish” Caps, shower cubicle, new “Bespoke” made black out blinds, drives excellent, no rust or cracking to the body, diesel heater, split charger to leisure battery, stainless steel sink, cooker, 3-way powered fridge, over head bunk bed, central removable table, untested Air conditioning…Tax and MOT exempt, possibly the best and only example in the UK and is one of the best available, excellent examples such as this are even rare stateside also!
The beauty of this RV camper is that it is a nice proportional size, some minimal finishing required but it is more or less ready to use, it has not been used or slept in since it was refurbished, the soft furnishings are as new!!
I will post more pictures of the interior soon.
