I've owned this car for almost five years. It was restored in 2012 to an excellent standard. Since being restored the car has had minimal use. The underside is in solid condition and has been undersealed. The interior has been retrimmed and is in excellent condition. Since I've owned the car I've fitted a new Handmade by Heary dashboard, replaced all engine and gearbox mounts and replaced UJ's on driveshaft. The car has been totally reliable and never let me down and is great fun to drive with the roof down in summer - the car has been fully garaged during my ownership. Car is tax & MOT exempt and very low insurance so very inexpensive to run and of course all parts are so easy to get for these cars.
The paintwork is generally good with some minor cracking in a couple of places - these would be an easy repair. The only reason I have not addressed them is that they are noticeable only on closer inspection and I only drive the car in good weather and it's always garaged so I've not felt the need to to address them.
The car drives very well and always starts. The speedo is currently not working - it stopped after I replaced the gearbox mounts (as I disconnected the speedo when doing this work) so I assume that the issue lies in the cable to the speedo/ gearbox.
