Description
1957 chevy Bel Air 4 door sedan
Thought to have 43, 000 original miles, stunning Tropical Turquoise and India ivory colour combination. Rust-free body and floor pans, 283 V8 2-barrel Rochester 2GC carb with automatic powerglide transmission, new full white wall tires. Runs and drives great.
Paint is in excellent condition except for 4 small minor areas around the trunk lid area (where the lead joints are in the panels, see pictures). Chrome and stainless seems to be mostly original and is in excellent shape. Front left corner bumper has a ding in it, but I have a new replacement corner bumper to fit.
The car has its original interior showing some signs of wear (headliner might be new but it’s very well done and correct). I have the correct cloth for the seats If the new owner decided to re do the bench seats/ door cards or leave as is. It only original once.
Minor things that still need doing, Indicator needle on auto gear change has come off, I have the new one that needs fitting. Fuel gauge and temp gauge intermittent and need attention. Speedometer cable needs replacing (also included), 1 small impacts in the windscreen, but not resulting in any cracking.
More pictures or WhatsApp videos available on request. Car located near Castle Douglas and on sale on behalf of my son. Care came from Maryland and was produced at the GM plant in Baltimore. I imported the car from the US and am the first U. K registered owner
