My Classic 1999 Toyota Starlet Solida. 80000 miles, original and unmodified.
12 months MOT (no advisories).
I have enjoyed driving this endearing car over the summer however my requirements have now changed.
One of the best examples you are likely to find, with the right credentials; 2 doors, manual, and high spec (for one of these). The 'solida' model affords you power steering, electric windows, central locking, sunshine roof and wonderfully daring 90's upholstery.
It doesn't require any welding (see MOT history) the underneath is solid and has been cleaned and oiled this year.
Garaged from new until I acquired it from the family of the original owner. I have receipts for a recent timing belt replacement plus receipts for work I have carried out.
It is excellent throughout, I understand the paintwork is original, rust free and virtually unmarked. Adittional the interior is exceptionally fresh, it drives faultlessly and everything works.
The original wheels have recently been professionally refurbished in a more muted gunmetal silver, the front tyres are nearly new and both of the rear wheel bearings have been replaced recently. It has the original Toyota mudflaps, dealer supplied number plates and rear parcel shelf. The speakers have been upgraded, the stereo pictured is not included (It has been with replaced with a NOS period Kenwood unit).
In summary, a wonderful appreciating useable car, a joy to drive and worthy of any collection. The mileage could increase since it may still be used occasionally. I also have a set of immaculate enkei alloys wheels available separately by negotiation if required.
