Project car.
Starts first time every time (even this morning in
0 degrees!)
Great number plate- HUI 9444
1985 (registered August) so
Mot exempt with historic road tax next year.
Car is in primer throughout which needs minimal prep before respray.
Nice interior, black leather, original steering wheel etc.
Been off the road for a while, but starts runs moves stops. New starter motor and spark plugs.
Please Note:
The steel fuel lines from half-way down the car to the tank/ pump at the rear are temporarily rubber hose so the car can be started. (Original pipes were corroded).
The rubber hoses will need replacing with copper pipe before the car can be driven.
Welding has been carried out previously on the backs of each sill. This was done 6 years ago after which the car passed an mot. The outer sill backs were cut out for access to weld then have been seem welded back on. They need final dressing with a light fill to contour, sanding smooth.
They still feel solid but need a patch each side, they're not crumbling away like most...
Boot floor wells solid as is everywhere else on the car.
