EV Austin Healey 3000 BT7 Mk1 ALL ELECTRIC. Heritage Certificate. Fitted with a lightweight GRP body and metal louvred bonnet with straps, all finished in Ice Blue, paintwork shows some minimal patina but overall is excellent. The EV CONVERSION was carried out by SEBRING - WORKS .
The Healey has a NETGAIN HYPER 9 MOTOR that drives a Torque Box supplied by Torque Trends of the USA the batteries powering this are 36. 4Wh - Batteries are still being run in and give an advised approximate range of 100 miles. The car is also fitted with an over air update platform. The rear axle has been fully reconditioned and all round suspension is adjustable SPAX supplied by AH Spares. Front suspension and steering is new and the car fitted with Blockley Tyres on pressed wheels, brakes system has FOSSEWAY callipers and the car also benefits from power steering - by EZ Power steering . Digital period style Instruments were tailor made for the car by Speed Hut in the USA. Heated windscreen ( supplied by AH Spares) and sound system is a Pioneer flip screen audio ( Sat Nav Apple Spotify) etc.. with hands free phone unit. Trimmed in blue leather with Mota-Lita steering wheel, and blue mohair tonneau cover and hood.
I've owned the car for many years and a huge amount of work and time has gone into this conversion, It's unique and racing styling compliments it perfectly. It cruises beautifully and the adjustable suspension gives it a modern ride and great handling , the automatic torque box comfortable and excellent in built up traffic. This is ideal for London / city commutes, taking advantage of its electric credentials.
