Description
Our Austin-Healey 3000 Mk1 was built and developed into a racing car by Atelier C2C in the Paris region. For many years it has been chasing lap times, and we’ve found it on the grid for a number of events, including the Le Mans Classic, in the hands of, among others, Stephane Wimez. It was then followed and prepared by Ohres Racing on behalf of Mr. Avezou, who, too, went on to take part in many races. It changed hands and, for the current owner, was put in the expert care of Claude Cassina (Garage De La Maison Neuve), who has since looked after it, with all mechanical parts supplied by the famous Welch. Its very capable engine, recently rebuilt, and its all-aluminium bodywork make it the ideal weapon for Sixties' Endurance by Peter Auto, the 6 Hours of Spa, or the GTSCC—and of course Le Mans Classic in Plate 3.
