Bought from a friends estate.
He had owned the vehicle since 1989 (which was waiting to be recommissioned) along with many other Austin Seven models he drove and enjoyed.
I have in the last 18 months done the following:-
Repairs to seat squabs,
Relined the rear brakes,
Replaced rear axle oil seals,
Replaced the petrol pump diaphragm and fitted a fuel filter,
Decoke to include clean and gaskets etc,
Plugs, points and leads,
Bottom end checked and re metaling of no3 big end,
New radiator tap, hoses and castings,
New tyres and tubes,
MOT until August 26I have enjoyed the mechanical side of getting this car back to a running roadworthy condition, it is fun to drive and brings plenty of smiles per miles!
It has got me interested in older cars again and would love to look for a new project but only have space for one at a time.
Not a complete vehicle history but some paperwork and invoices.
