Description
This is a Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III long-wheelbase limousine, coachbuilt by Park Ward.
The car retains its original chauffeur-driven specification, including the division window and rear passenger tables.
It is an honest, original example that runs and drives, and remains largely unmodified. The vehicle would benefit from routine recommissioning, brake servicing, and some cosmetic bodywork, but retains its original character, interior trim, and woodwork.
The car is located in Cape Town, South Africa. International buyers are welcome.
Rolls-Royce Construction & Test Records extract has been requested from the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club (RREC) and will accompany the car.
Additional photographs and information available on request. The car has been in long-term private ownership in South Africa.
According to the current owner, the vehicle was acquired in the year 2000 from a well-known local figure, Richard Miller, who had owned the car for a number of years prior.
The purchase followed a personal connection formed when the car was regularly seen at a farm stall operated by the current owner in the late 1990s. After expressing a long-standing admiration for the vehicle, the opportunity arose to acquire it directly when it became available.
The car has since remained in the same ownership for over two decades and was affectionately named “Lala” by the owner.
Early factory build and delivery details are currently being researched, and a Rolls-Royce Construction & Test Records extract has been requested from the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club to formally document the original specification and delivery information.
