Description
Due to change of plans and advancing age, I have decided that my RME needs a new home.
Restored in 1990s by John Byron, it has been in my ownership for 11 years - during that time it has been garaged, used sparingly as a second car, but always "ready to go".
Not concours, but no rust evident. To increase reliability fitted with dynamo-looking alternator, electronic ignition, electronic rev counter, volt meter, reversing viewer, separately-wired indicators, Pacet electric fuel pump, electric windscreen washer pump, more efficient air-filter (original available), and up-dated clock movement. S/ S exhaust, good roof & beige leather upholstery - chrome generally good. Rewired, 2 year-old Bosch battery. All instruments work, except ammeter (negative earth)
By chassis number, should be "spatted", but, because the spats make it difficult to change rear wheels, the spats are not fitted - they would be included with the car when sold. Spare cylinder head and relevant technical literature included. A solid, reliable car.
