For the avoidance of doubt, I am NOT looking for “swaps”. So many offers but I am either looking to sell my car outright or consider a part-exchange up to the value of £5000.
I am desperate for a more modern runaround for long journeys so I can consider a part-exchange! (Up to the value of £5000).
Due to unprecedented commitments, I have made the difficult decision to part with my beloved Riley RMA. Purported to have been a Foreign Office staff car in the former Ceylon, it remained in the now Sri Lanka for most of its life, so never went rusty! Since being repatriated to Great Britain the car has undergone considerable mechanical restoration, including a full engine re-build, clutch, braking system, new tyres and more. It is beautifully authentic and original and a sheer joy to drive. A very sweet sounding engine, never overheats, excellent oil pressure, and a very tight gearbox pulling with tremendous torque through all four gears.
A striking silver and black with a gorgeous deep burgundy leather interior. In my opinion, the best colour combination!
It is fair to say that the paintwork could be improved in places, yet I love the “patina” as it is, not over restored but showing the history of a much cherished post-war executive tourer.
I am looking for the next custodian of this wonderful car. I have a good history file, including the original log book as well as a bundle of invoices showing the considerable works carried out in recent years. A member of the Riley Owners Club, I also have a stack of Club magazines which go with the file.
Viewing ( in Dorset ) is by appointment only please.
