This is the 1988 model, with vastly improved build quality as Ford took over 2 years before, and the improved fuel injection from 1987 and the improved Jaguar Sport seats. This car comes with the very rare TWR Sport steering wheel at full asking price, the superb original one is available too, and in 2023 received an upgraded Blaupunkt Classic Look CD Player / Radio / DAB electric Antenna for £363. Fitted with Onboard computer, which works perfectly, Headlight wash/ wipe system, and beautiful condition Leather seats, and ABS brakes. The Jaguar comes with nice original Jaguar Leather Wallet with original books and a large original Jaguar 25 pages Sales brochure, original Jaguar tool kit in excellent unused condition, most previous MOT certificates since new, original Service book with 13 Stamps, most from Jaguar main dealers, Last Service in 2023, with oil change and brakes serviced, done only 1400 mls since, plus new belt which drives Alternator and Water pump this January to prevent Engine destruction ! Dry stored for a long period, then recomissioned in 2017, hence low mileage. The Jaguar drives Superb , and everythng works ! Fully Hpi clear ! Negative points, hence the car is not £12, 000, but £7500, the rear bumper center chrome part has some imperfections, they are available for about £100-150 in excellent condtion, the bonnet has a few minor stone chips and 2 or 3 small bubbles, the black parts in the doors could do with painting, and the ski-slope round the gearstick has imperfections. Right front brake caliper slightly binding now as car been sitting parked up over the winter. Good points: Great paintwork. No rust in any of the 4 wheel arches. Nice interior and headlining. 4 excellent tyres. Solid underneath. Engine / gearbox and suspension perform like new. I would drive this car happily to Spain and back once the brake caliper is freed up. Brakes still work very well, but you can sometimes feel the binding caliper, it slows down a bit more than it should when the car is just rolling. short distances like 15 mls are ok but i wouldnt drive a very long distance as the caliper can cause the brake fluid to overheat and lose the brakes, better to just drive it 10 miles and call the AA to get it towed home.
