I’ve owned this Mk3 2 door Cortina L model for around 8 years. It’s the sloped dash model, which is now very rare, according to HowManyLeft there are only around 3–4 currently registered on the road.
The car originally started life as a 1300cc model but has since been upgraded with a good 2. 0L Pinto engine, a 5-speed Type 9 gearbox, Coolex aluminum radiator and a 4-branch Ashley exhaust system.
Overall the car is in very good condition and drives really well with no issues. During my ownership it has always been kept indoors and well looked after, and it’s regularly been shown at local car shows. It’s been sprayed satin black, which really suits the car and it always gets a lot of attention, photos and positive comments whenever it’s out on the road. It has no problem keeping up with modern traffic.
The only reason for sale is that I’ve unfortunately lost my storage. The car is both MOT and tax exempt.
