One of the last mk2. 5's. Registered in March 2005. Arctic special edition. Sunlight silver with unmarked blue leather interior. A matching hard top with storage cover is included. The mohair soft top is like new with very little use. A matching tonneau cover included. 50, 450 miles with full service history, book pack and a large file of previous receipts and MOT's. The cam belt has been replaced.
The previous owner kept it for 8 years and had it serviced every year despite only covering 7k miles in that time.
The rear tyres have been replaced and the brakes overhauled (both advisories) since the last MOT. The MOT expires at the end of March. I'm happy to have it renewed prior to sale. I have also had the rear sills professionally repaired as they were starting to bubble a bit. The car has been under sealed and is rust free.
The bodywork is excellent and the alloy wheels are unblemished. The front tyres are nearly new. Recent new battery. The car is in exceptionally good condition throughout - I doubt there are many in better original condition. The only non standard part is a stainless steel exhaust,
The air conditioning (a standard feature on the Arctic edition) is not currently working. I have not investigated the cause as aircon seems a bit superfluous in a convertible. It may just need regassing.
The car drives smoothly and faultlessly.
The asking price is £4250 with the matching hard top or £3750 without the hard top.
