Description
The Vespa GT60 was released in 2006 to celebrate sixty years of Vespa. Only 999 were made worldwide and were sold to order only. Each vespa has a numbered plaque with the owners initials inscribed on it. Very few were officially imported into the UK as all 999 were sold as soon as it was announced.
This is a very rare opportunity to buy a zero mile never used Vespa GT60. This particular GT60 is number 404 and was bought by me new in 2006 and has been on display ever since. Each of these gorgeous Vespas were supplied with a beautiful leather presentation box containing certificate of authenticity, a matching black leather wallet and key ring, an indoor bike cover, a beautiful hardback book celebrating sixty years of Vespa and a solid silver plaque matching the one on the bike.
The GT60 was only produced in Avio Grey and distinguished itself with the original style low level headlamp. Other special features were chrome wheels, polished metal master cylinders, a unique speedo assembly , and the two seat black leather saddle.
This is a stunning collectors piece in as new condition. It is also supplied with a pair of spare boxed master cylinders which were bought at the time as these were never to be reproduced.
A truly rare Vespa and an opportunity not to be missed.
