Description
1965 Signet for sale. Original swedish car, owned by one family up until 2007 when I purchased it as my first car. Never driven winters, minimal rust.
I did a few modifications in my 20’s.
The car has its original 225 slant six.
Optional a-833 4-speed with original hurst shifter installed by me.
Clifford headers with dual one side exhaust and X-pipe.
Mopar original option 5, 5” x 14” wheels.
MSD electronic ignition.
Option ”woodgrain” steering wheel, the standard original one is included aswell.
The car has been used but kept in fine condition.
Original boot floor mat but in poor condition.
Original spare wheel and diagonal tyre (13”) The original owner family did a restoration in the 80’s repainting the car but it has the very unusual copper metallic combined with the elegant black interior. Interior in very good shape, minimal wear and tear.
Used to be a floor shift automatic, hense the hole in the original floor carpet.
The car has been sitting and now overheats so something is probably clogged, thermostat most likely. If you are serious about valiants you will know these are rustbuckets and often worn out. This is a beautiful survivor and the most luxurious model Valiant offered at the time. Fun to drive with the 4-speed, headers and reasonably strong 225 engine.
If you are serious about the car and wish to drive it home, I will have the overheating issue sorted. Of course trailering the car would be the safest.
