In excellent condition, this is a facelift model with manual gearbox plus all its original features from factory. There is absolutely no rust or corrosion anywhere, the bodywork and underside are all solid. Just had a new 12-mth MOT till February 2027, no advisories. The car comes with Mazda dealer history and a huge folder of receipts for historic servicing. New mohair soft top fitted with heated rear glass screen 1 year ago.
The bodywork presents very well for its age in Brilliant Black metallic paint. It has a chrome racing fuel cap, remote central-locking alarm, stainless steel kick-plates. There is no rust or corrosion anywhere. All the chassis rails, front legs and floor pans are completely solid. The sills and rear arches were all professionally replaced a few years ago (with receipt for £1, 600). New catalytic converter and full custom stainless steel exhaust fitted (receipt for £642). It has just had new front brake calipers, plus new brake discs and pads fitted all round (cost £350) before its latest MOT.
The engine has been very diligently looked after by past owners including myself with following correct service intervals at Mazda main dealers. The car has ABS braking system, dual SRS-airbags for added safety, power-steering, air-conditioning, welded-differential. The cambelt and water-pump have been replaced (receipt £380). A full replacement clutch kit was fitted at 28k miles (receipt £462). No rust or visible corrosion even around the engine bay panels when the bonnet is up.
On the inside, all the buttons and dials work correctly. It has heated black leather seats, a leather Nardi steering wheel, hand brake grip and gear knob. Immobiliser for added security plus two genuine Mazda keys. Electric door windows and wing-mirrors working perfectly. Lightweight 15-inch alloy wheels with good tyres all round.
There is Main dealer stamped history to 33k followed by receipts for regular servicing by Mazda specialist. The paperwork includes receipts for over £9, 500 of careful maintenance during the car’s ownership. This is a very looked after car that is ready to drive and be enjoyed with no issues or maintenance required.
The car is lots of fun and feels fantastic to drive. There are no unusual knocks or noises. The engine pulls really strong, benefitting from recent service and having genuine low mileage of under 44k. The boot still has all the original bits like the spare wheel, jack and toolkit present. Overall, this car is the total package and being a UK model is also cheaper on insurance. V5 logbook is in hand in my own name and shows just 6 former keepers.
