Description
Absolutely beautiful Daimler Double Six V12. Rescued from a car dealer that wasn't into classic cars. He bought it as part of a large £2M car collection.
The vehicle check shows two previous owners.
First owner had the car since new in 01-10-1988
Second owner owned the car since 30-03-1989
I bought the car on the 13th November 2024.
Very rare in this condition with no rust at all. Lovely paint with no defects, Good tyres, has been well looked after for its life as was kept indoors for ten years as part of the owners vast collection. Runs and drives but has a fuel blockage.
Perfect oil pressure, does not overheat. Interior good, minor damage to drivers bolster but I have a brilliant leather expert just down the road. Roof lining has sagged so will need to be rectified. 1988 so will become an historic vehicle in two years. Insurance for me is £115 fully comp. Everything works on the car, gearbox good brakes etc, but it does not rev out due to fuel contamination. We have it running but can confirm the fuel is bad (smells awful!). Starts on the button.
Major work on house forces very reluctant sale. V5 was promised from the dealer but he has not delivered so I have now applied for the V5 myself. Private plate is not included. I have bought a pair of new plates with the original registration ready to swap over (registration mark is F999 LPK). Offered at a fraction of what these go for, it's very unique due to condition of the bodywork.
If you would like some detailed pictures please message me and I will send them. Vehicle is in Spalding PE12. You are welcome to come and view it. No scammers, might part exchange for a van (building work going on). Cash preferred. Would consider a PX.
