This MGB Heritage Shell Roadster KYA800K with overdrive and wire wheels was first registered at Taunton on 2/ 5/ 72 .
It has completed approximately 38, 467 miles since its full photographic rebuild using a BMIHT shell including doors, boot and bonnet. The shell was seam welded prior to painting in green and fitting with black leather seats, black trim and grey carpets.
It's a much admired excellent example of an iconic sports car.
All parts of the car are in excellent condition and full working order and it drives beautifully with no faults. It is totally free of any damage or corrosion anywhere. Following the rebuild it was fully rustproofed and that has been annually checked and maintained.
The car has a nicely detailed engine bay, unleaded cylinder head, steel braided flexible brake pipes, copper hydraulic pipes, silicone based clutch and brake fluids, Koni rear shock absorbers, poly suspension bushes, inertia seat belts, mohair black hood, full tonneau and Motalita steering wheel
It is complete with fifty four years of documented history including large numbers of MoT certificates, tax discs, invoices, ownership history and photographs.
The car is the last part of a collection being disposed of for a genuine reason by it's current owner.
This exceptionally fine example is priced well below its current rebuild costs. A Heritage Shell in primer currently costs £16k.
KYA800K has been future proofed and well maintained. It will provide a great driving experience and lots of enjoyment for its new owner for many years whilst maintaining its value.
The car has completed 450 miles since its last advisory free MoT. It is road tax. MoT and ULEX exempt.
