Originally sold new by a British Leyland dealer in New York, USA. Repatriated to the UK in 1992. It underwent a full nut and bolt rebuild from 1992 and was completed in 2003. Whilst being completely rebuilt the car was converted to RHD.
The restoration was completed to the very highest possible standards by well seasoned British craftsman. The car still looks factory fresh, as new. No marks, no chips, no dents, no rust, no damage, no scratches or issues whatsoever. Show winning car for sure.
Everything works and operates as it should.
Panel fit & all exterior chrome fits better than when new. An extremely well finished example.
All chrome including wire wheels are as new in condition. There is nothing to do to this car other than to enjoy.
The car still retains all of its original chassis, engine and transmission numbers. Heritage certificate is provided with the sale.
The Jaguar benefits from a massive selection of photographs, many of which were taken throughout its restoration. The car was extremely solid & well preserved prior to the nut & bolt rebuild.
The original body colour was Sable, the original interior colour was Cinnamon & the original hood colour was Fawn.
I know you won’t find a better example.
