E-TYPE V12 OTS (Open Two Seater)
The Jaguar E-Type Series 3 with a powerful and refined 5. 3 litre V12 engine, here with a manual gearbox rather than an automatic to avoid any loss of performance.
This E-Type was built on 19 October 1973 at the Jaguar works in Coventry and handed over on 11 January 1974 to the British Leyland importer in New York, USA.
In the early 1990s it was imported to Germany and dismantled by the owner and car collector, “Bare Metal”, i. e. stripped back to bare metal, restored and rebuilt with a great deal of effort and cost. A photo documentation confirms this.
The good condition of the bodywork and paint attests to the very high quality even today. The engine bay also testifies to the high standard.
The interior was lavishly reupholstered in red genuine leather at the owner’s request.
The E-Type has matching numbers, meaning the chassis, the engine and the gearbox bear the original factory numbers at delivery.
Since the 1990s the E-Type has had only four owners in Germany, has been regularly driven and maintained, and a detailed record of all maintenance and repairs exists. Accordingly, the car drives perfectly.
The technical and cosmetic condition of the E-Type has been thoroughly and in detail inspected and confirmed in our own specialist workshop.
No backlog of maintenance or upcoming works are necessary; there is nothing standing in the way of the start of the 2026 season with this E-Type V12.
