First, the engine size was increased to 2. 7L achieving higher torque. Secondly, fuel injection was used for the first time in the 911 range.
Finished in its original shade of Grandprix White and paired with the brushed stainless steel accents, she is very recognizable as a Targa. And our favourite part has to be the very dark blue interior, which is very unique. The original wheels and the curved Targa window really set her apart from other 911’s. She has never been restored but she has been partially repainted around 20 years ago in her original colour. Inside you will find reupholstered Shetland seats in great condition, with the highly desirable Porsche Classic radio with Apple Carplay. Other options include the original front fog lights, original stabilizer bar, etc. You can tell that she was always someone’s pride and joy.
Mechanically, she’s ready for many great road trips. Her (matching) 5 speed gearbox is a smooth shifting example that offers refined yet sporty gear changes. She is powered by her original matching 2. 7L flat-six engine with the Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection. This means that she starts up directly, even after sitting through winter. And with 150 bhp she can easily keep up with traffic and drive you through the Alps on a lovely summer’s day. To make her ready for the next roadtrip, we have overhauled the braking system and given her a fresh service. She runs and drives beautifully, guaranteed to put a smile on your face every time you take her out.
