I bought this in 2021 when it became available after the original owner had stripped it and garaged it with a view to a rebuild, which never happened.
This is an original RHD model when only 500 were manufactured for the home market
The car was bought originally stripped but a thorough refabrication of all areas of the bodywork has been necessary while the original chassis has been sand blasted and painted
All the axle brakes and running gear have been restored and the engine rebuilt
All the original parts to complete the restoration are available
I am selling the MGA because I have over committed on my other restoration project and cannot afford to fully complete this as well, My other option is to garage it as it is for a future restart. I have invoiced works from the specialist restorer which total over £45000
I have the original ‘log book’ handbook and maintenance manual and original keys, as well as the original registration document and current V5
