Mercedes 450SLC for sale. A true retro classic that has been well looked after since being built in 1978. Just 2 (yes 2) previous owners, the previous owner had her for 30 years and was his daily driver for many years. Anything that needed doing has been done over the years, with news sills and the rear arches repaired, along with an annual service done by the previous owner.
The paintwork is in good condition, there are a few blemishes here and there but no serious rust or bad panel damage, she is not a rot-box. The glasswork and light lenses are in great condition and the brightwork contrasts nicely. Fitted with the awesome sounding 4520cc V8 power-plant and silky smooth 4-speed automatic transmission. There's a pile of older service history and this SLC was checked over mechanically in April this year, which included a new rear exhaust box and complete engine check over.
She drives like a dream and gets a lot of attention wherever she goes. Everything works, electric roof and all 4 windows, central locking and electrics (not bad for 48 years old). This SLC is registered as a historic vehicle and so is ULEZ free, road tax free and no MOT required (although passed with one small advisory last year, this has now been fixed)
