1955 AJS 500CC twin, original condition. I bought the bike 3. 5 years ago and fitted a new Armour twin exhaust, an easy lift centre stand, an owners club ugraded oil pump and had the Mag gone over by Eweun Kettles. The previous owner had rebuilt the engine, receipts for crank rebuild and balancing at over £830 in 2018. I used the bike a little up to a year ago and it has sat at the back of the workshop as I have 6 other bikes. New and old log books, original parts list and workshop manuals.
Paintwork looks good, though likely done 30 years ago and looks old with blemishes. Starts though could do with a checkover before regular use. I have a couple of Matchless singles and fancied an AMC twin, it is smooth, though not as exciting as my Triumph twin.
