Die Geschichte dieses Jaguar S-type 3. 8 beginnt in Mailand im Mai 1966, als das Auto von der Firma Virgilio Rimoldi Spa, spezialisiert auf die Herstellung von Nähmaschinen, erworben wurde. Nach 6 Jahren ging das Auto in den Besitz des zweiten Eigentümers über, dann 1987 an den dritten und 1991 an den vierten, alle in Mailand ansässig. Im Jahr 2019 ging das Auto an den aktuellen Eigentümer über, der das Fahrzeug mit extremer Sorgfalt und Aufmerksamkeit pflegt hat, wie seine Vorgänger.
Der metallic Goldsandfarbton Sabbia dorata metallizzato ist sicherlich im Laufe der Jahre aufgefrischt worden, während das Interieur aus blauem Leder, obwohl es die Spuren der Zeit trägt, gut mit dem britischen Stil des Autos harmoniert. Ebenso präsentieren sich die Holzteile des Armaturenbretts und der Türen mit einer charmanten Patina.

The history of this Jaguar S-type 3. 8 begins in Milan in May 1966 when the car was purchased by the company "Virginio Rimoldi Spa", specialized in the construction of sewing machines. After 6 years the car passed into the hands of the second owner, then the third in 1987 and the fourth in 1991, all from Milan. In 2019 the car passed to the current owner who continued to maintain the car with extreme care and attention like its predecessors.
The Opalescent Golden Sand color has certainly been refreshed over the years, while the blue leather interior, while showing signs of age, appears well harmonized with the car's British style. Likewise, the woods of the dashboard and doors also present a charming patina.
The car is equipped with the 3. 8 engine, the most powerful of the two available at the time, combined with a four-speed manual gearbox with overdrive and Burman power steering, an option of the time. In the early years, the air conditioning system was installed, which is still in perfect working order, as was the Autovox radio from the early 1980s.
The S-type represents the middle ground between the Mk2 and the Mark X: the generous dimensions together with the rear end equipped with independent suspension represent the main characteristics of this British sedan, rare to find in Italy in these conditions, still with its original license plates.
