Description
One of the nicest Stags in the country today, it was professionally restored by the previous owner who's business is a body repair and paint shop specializing in classic cars. It's had new sills, wings and door skins, no patch welding and bare metal repaint to the original Inca yellow. The mechanics of the car was outsourced including full engine and gearbox nut and bolt rebuild. Alloy wheels refurbished and diamond cut, new fuel tank a fuel lines too many things to list really. I have receipts of over £9, 500.
Interior trim is original with refoamed seats, new carpets and refreshed wooden dash. In my ownership I've upgraded the cooling system with new radiator, Stag Webber header tank, electric ignition with viper coil , and a wood steering wheel because I think it looks great.
The soft top hood is new and looks great and seals well when up. I do have a hard top that can go with the car but this needs restoration. It has all glass intact and headliner looks good other than a clean. It will need however a repaint and some chrome trims. I bought the car almost 4 years ago, I'd always wanted a Stag and as this one feels like new and drives and sounds amazing it was a dream come true to own. It only goes out on sunny days so most of the time the hood is down. Unfortunately as my health and mobility has become an issue I'm finding walking around a show ground to show off the stag and look around all the wonderful classics is an arduous task. Because of this she doesn't get out often as I'd like and it deserves to be seen.
So im looking for a new home that can drive it like it should be
Any inspection welcome I have a two post ramp in my garage so the car can be viewed underneath.
