Description
After several months of consideration I've decided to part with my Turner Mk1. 60/ 324 74 LLG.
My late brother bought it as a project car but sadly never got the chance to start work on it. I've owned it for 4 years and in that time I've done a considerable amount of work on it. It just needs a few things done to finish it. All the big stuff and the hard work is done.
Before my brother took ownership the car had a new chassis and new steel inner tub which are still yet to run on the road. There was a lot wrong with the car and many unsuitable parts were fitted and I've resolved these issues.
The car runs a 1275 A Series Midget engine (Oil pressure at idle 75psi cold and 50psi normal temp) with a late MG Midget 1275 gearbox which hasn't been runs since reconditioning. 1 3/ 4 SU and custom exhaust made from a new Maniflow Cooper S system. Hardi fuel pump. New complete clutch. New clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder and pipes. Brakes have been overhauled. Mini aluminium radiator. Kenlowe fan. New brake pipes, master and rear slave cylinders. New pads and shoes. All the electrics and wiring have been overhauled. New headlights. Wheels refurbished, new chrome spinners, new tyres and inner tubes. New rear dampers. New front springs. A new windscreen glass by Ian Hogg is ready to be fitted by the new owner. New handbrake cables.
There's a lot more work done too numerous to mention.
As you can see from the pictures the car will benefit from a replacement interior. I never intended to paint it as I like it as it is.
I fitted a new release bearing with the new clutch and and it squeals. The brakes need bleeding.
Please contact me if you'd like more information or pictures.
The car was valued by the Turner Register last year and I'm asking less than this valuation. I've plenty of time to share information with serious parties.
£9750This is a rare car. A true british sports car still very popular in classic racing series
