Description
This 5 speed manual, 1990 M635CSI is presented in Royal Blue Metallic with Sand Nappa leather. This car has covered 3000 miles in the past 10 years and just over 155000 miles in total. It has a full, 18 stamps, service history, a mix of BMW and specialist in the later years, although the service book has seen better days. The last service was in July 25 and MOT to April 27.
The interior is showing some wear on the drivers bolster and a has minor mark on passenger seat, but otherwise is in very good condition for the year. The car rides on undamaged, 17 inch, genuine BMW, OEM, RC090, BBS polished outer with anthracite centres. The original wheels with TRX tyres are also included. New centre exhaust section by pipe craft in 2021. It comes equipped with A/ C, rear blind, headlamp washers, electric sunroof, electric seats and electric mirrors.
The paint is generally in good condition having had a full panel off respray by Dick Lovett BMW in 1999. The paint on the roof and rear spoiler looks to have been sprayed later and have some minor marks. Underneath the car is solid. All switches work. The engine bay is clean and as factory. It has had a recent rocker gasket but as with most BMW’s of this era is does spot a little oil after a run. The car had an unused spare wheel, with an unused TRX tyre and comprehensive toolkit and the original first aid kit in the boot.
This is a very attractive cars and always gets positive attention and with the desirable manual gearbox and a 3. 5 litre, 286bhp, Motorsport straight 6, you can cruise with the best of them. In short, one of the best looking BMW’s ever made in an authentic condition with solid history. I have owned this car for nearly 5 years and have driven it regularly. It is great to drive and starts and runs smoothly, pulling strongly when required. It gets positive attention and is in my opinion one of the best looking BMW cars made.
