Receipts, invoices and photographic evidence of the restoration. I bought the car as a barn find, and restoration project. When I found out the unique history, I decided to go the whole hog and do a complete nut and bolt restoration, on the body engine and chassis. I've tried wherever possible to restore everything to the factory spec. I've resisted the temptation over bling the car, retaining it's originality and character. I spent a lot of time and effort tracking down and commissioning craftsmen and experts, mainly in the Coventry area. Engine experts, differential and gear box experts, chrome platers and radiator rebuilders for example. The chassis was rebuilt by a professional, the body work, sheet metal, the full body and bonnet assembly respray all carried out by local craftsmen. I've driven the car and have taken it to a show. It's great fun, pulls and drives really well. I've decided to sell it on as I bought it as a project. Ideally I'd like it to go to a collection, as it does have a unique history. But it could be driven and enjoyed just as well. NB. the odometer reading shows about 110, 000 miles, but its hardly done more than 50 since the full engine rebuild. But I didn't want to mess with the original speedo.
