Model A Roadster for sale, rebuilt in the USA by the previous owner with no money spared on mechanical parts and period correct speed equipment. This is a sorted roadster ready to use and race.
The car has undergone an extensive frame-off rebuild using high-quality parts and upgrades. The body is solid completely rust free however is just in primer and ideally needs painting to finish the look and make it yours.
I have owned this car for 6 years importing it from SO-Cal California in 2020. This is a fun, fast and reliable '4 banger', due to the need for a bigger car regrettably it has to go. ENGINE
Professionally rebuilt ‘4 banger’ by Joe Sivils in the USA with hi-end components. When the engine was built several years ago in the US the following parts were installed:
New Old Stock (NOS) Russian B-block, machined for insert rod and main bearings
Modern front and rear main seals
NOS “C” crankshaft, drilled for full-flow oiling
Crower rods with double TR4 bearings
NOS B camshaft
New pistons, rings, pins, and stainless steel valves
New double-lock lifters
Hardened steel crank gear and aluminium cam gear
Dual Stromberg 81 carburetors (rebuilt by Stromberg UK)
Riley twin aluminium down-draft intake manifold
“Frog mouth” aluminium carburetor scoops
Leak-less stainless steel water pump
CNC-machined stipe oil pump with hardened Chevrolet gears
Custom aluminium side cover with adjustable brass pressure plug and full-flow oil filter
Custom main caps
Crankshaft machined for modern sealing (no leaks)
Rebuilt Mallory distributor with mechanical advance
Plug wires with Raja ends
Flywheel lightened to 34 lbs, new ring gear
New 9” V8 pressure plate and clutch
New aluminium adapter mated to a fully rebuilt 1939 Ford transmission with 26-tooth Zephyr gears
Custom header with stock-style exhaust and muffler

CHASSIS
Fully restored with period upgrades including;
Frame completely stripped, blasted, primed, and painted
F100 steering box
All-new braking system and lines
Lincoln-style MT hydraulic brakes with modern internals
“Oakie Joe” 4-inch stretched (dropped) Model A front axle
Powder-coated Kelsey Hayes 40-spoke wheels
Firestone crossplys 750x16” rear 600’s front
Triumph front shocks; tube shocks in the rear
Rebuilt torque tube with new bearings and seals
Universal joint replaced
Replaced rear-end bearings, seals, and axles
Kiwi Quick-change rear differential with interchangeable high/ low gear sets
Reverse eye rear spring -Fitted by Valley Gas Speed Shop

Original Henry Ford roadster body:
Original all-steel body with Brookville decklid
Rumble seat
New floor panels installed
Roadster top and side curtains included (not installed)
Louvered hood

Working oil pressure and water temperature gauges
Rebuilt factory fuel gauge
New ignition switch and full wiring harness
12-volt electrical system conversion with battery isolator
New windshield frame, stanchions, and safety glass
Optima 12V battery fed from an alternator
Factory fuel tank remains fully functional with an electric fuel pump fitted and fuel regulator
