Description
1968 Renault Caravelle Convertible – Classic French Elegance
The car was fully restored approximately 14 years ago and still presents itself in very solid, rust‑free condition. The odometer shows around 40, 000 km – the exact accuracy is hard to confirm, but it may well represent the distance driven after the overhaul.
In spring 2026, the car received an electric fuel pump replacing the mechanical one, along with newly overhauled front brake calipers and a new battery. As the photos show, the soft top is in great condition, and all locking mechanisms work properly.
European transport can be arranged at additional cost. Location now is in South of Norway. Speaks Norwegian, English and German fluid. This iconic 1968 Renault Caravelle Convertible blends French charm with timeless design. Developed in collaboration with Italian designer Pietro Frua, the Caravelle quickly became known as one of the most elegant compact convertibles of the 1960s.
It represents an era when driving was about simplicity, style, and the joy of open‑air motoring. Ideal for summer cruising, weekend trips, and classic‑car gatherings.
With its graceful lines, light handling, and distinctive rear‑mounted engine, the Caravelle offers a uniquely charming driving experience. A rare opportunity to own a well‑preserved piece of automotive history.
