Description
1972 MGB Roadster.
This has had a Full rotisserie restoration sometime within the last 15 years. Zero rust anywhere its absolutely solid, fully undersealed and lanoguarded after.
Engine we think is an 1890cc as it has oversized 0. 080 pistons so has been fully rebuilt. Approx £4000 - £5000 to have one built. Runs great pulls very well.
All brakes have been replaced inc all copper lines,, brakes straight and true.
Tight precise steering as its had a new rack fitted.
Gearbox is excellent with a tight positive engagement and perfect clutch feel.
Matching uniroyal tyres all around.
Stainless fuel tank.
Originally a white car it has been Fully repainted tartan red.
Brand new red roof and refurbished frame (need to be fitted)
Full red tonneau cover which looks much nicer than a Full roof and easier to use.
Mechanically it needs nothing but has room for improvement cosmeticlly if required. I would continue to leave as is and just enjoy the car while the sun is out.
I highly doubt a more solid genuine car could be found for this price anywhere.
This is a perfect example of a usable and affordable classic car. Its not concours by any means it's just a great example of a usable fun classic ready to be enjoyed the way they were meant to be. Collection from Poole Dorset.
