Description
Reduced asking price and open to reasonable offers. I have owned HND 239E for 11 years and loved every minute. Such a lovely, characterful drive, and slipping in the overdrive is effortless and great fun.
The car was converted to adjustable Gaz rear telescopic shock absorbers. Electric fan. Spin on oil filter.
Rear poly-bushes and differential mounts strengthened.
Electronic ignition for reliable economic spark, no need to think about deteriorating or incorrectly set points.
Recent recon differential.
Driveshafts have been refreshed.
Extensive history file, with many receipts, old MOTs and British Motor Heritage Certificate.
Original factory fitted backlight / hard top */ surrey top **, for all weather use and reduced buffeting.
* With original, good condition headlining. ** Has had a sewn repair, it is serviceable, (please see photos).
Gearbox and overdrive rebuilt by renowned Cox and Sons less than 1000 miles ago.
Engine rebuilt by TRGB less than 2000 miles ago, with unleaded head, larger bore linings and pistons, uprated (modern) main oil seal, chain-gear, camshaft etc (receipted).
There are some minor paint issues on close inspection, although, overall, the paint is very good. Small, localised crazing, a little cracking on rear bulkhead and a little blistering, but generally very good and a shiny car.
Genuine reason for sale, very regrettable, but I don't have the garage space.
5 x chrome wire wheel and 2 new front tyres. Great set of pressed steel wheels, with tyres and hubcaps included. Original Triumph Signal Red, resprayed in 2012.
Record of all previous owners in file. The car has been used for dry use only in the 11 years that I have owned it.
