I have owned the car since July 1995. It's UK registration plate was C702VPM and since 12/ 11/ 2018 it is on a Croatian plate: ZG1985UR. I am the fifth owner.
The next roadworthy technical inspection (MOT) is due on 24/ 10/ 026.
The car has only been serviced by Audi and as detailed in the service history. The last standard service was on 8/ 04/ 2026.
Because it has only been serviced by Audi only original parts have been used with two notable exceptions; a Scorpion stainless steel exhaust and a Dialynx cast steel exhaust manifold. These were fitted more than 25 years ago and are functioning perfectly. The last major repair was in 2021 when I had to replace the camshaft.
Prior to that the car was resprayed in 2017 when it was scoured of rust and treated with Valvoline primers and sealants and Tectyl undercoating before liters of Dupont paint were applied. To be fair the car was always garage kept so I didn’t have a noticeable rust problem but once they started they treated everything and now the paintwork is very good everywhere apart from the odd stone chip I have picked up in the 7000 miles since.

I bought it when I was commuting from the UK to Croatia and having previously owned a Coupe I knew it would handle the task. It didn't disappoint and even after settling in Croatia and 30 years later I still drive it even though it is right-hand drive. For the last ten to fifteen years though I have driven less than 1500 miles a year. I drive it now only to maintain it. The other 350 days a year it spends under covers in the garage. It doesn’t come out in the rain or in the winter when there is salt on the roads and it doesn't have air conditioning so it is rarely driven here in the summer. I'm in my sixties now and two of the key people who helped me keep it on the road and in very good condition are no longer with us so for all of these reasons its time to reluctantly let it go.
