2006 BMW Alpina D3 E90. Early model with the better regarded M47 engine. 200bhp and 50mpg in the real world, it’s probably the best all rounder I’ve had.
Titan silver with black half leather interior. Unfortunately it did not come with the Alpina wheels but I’ve fitted some staggered 19” from a 335 coupe, branded tyres with plenty of tread but would benefit from a refurb.
Just been serviced, hasn’t given me any trouble in the 18 months I’ve owned it, unfortunately the ABS, TPMS & traction lights coming on a few days ago. According to a scanner it was the front right wheel speed sensor which I have replaced with an OEM one but the lights are still on. Hopefully will be resolved in the next few days.
Car is 100% standard apart from a Pipercross air filter. Selling as I’m getting something else next week and can’t keep everything. Number 172 of 431 made. Wonderful balance of ride and handling, performance, economy and practicality. Equally at home on long motorway trips and back road driving
