1979 Yamaha RD50, recently restored by myself to factory spec. All of the original parts were restored one by one even all of the original bolts and nuts were used except for the engine side cover bolts, I replaced those with high quality stainless steel screws to look exactly the same as the original ones. Engine runs perfectly, as a matter of fact I did not split the engine, I used a endoscope to see what state if the engine inside is, looks like new. All 5 gears work perfectly. I replaced the old chain. Rides perfectly, brakes work all lights work only the hooter does not work. All original wiring nothing was changed. The seat cover is a brand new OEM cover. All of the chrome parts were re-chromed.. I rebuilt the rims and I used new spokes. The frame is powder coated, the tank and all of the other bits were professionally resprayed. Tyres are original as the bike left the factory.
