This desirable GT manual model drives superbly, and the 1600 engine provides linear power through the 5-speed gearbox. The exterior paintwork is in fine condition overall with minimal signs of wear. The untouched interior remains in fabulous time warp condition, showing little to no wear on the seats or steering wheel, and only a little fading on the rear seat. There are no cracks on the dash. There are lots of bills on file for work carried out over the years. Recent work includes replacement of all vacuum pipes, replacement rear back box exhaust, four new tires, four wheel laser alignment, and the aforementioned cam belt and water pump. This Scirocco is a fantastic entry level classic car, providing famed reliability coupled with heaps of fun and enjoyment on the B roads. These Volkswagens are more than capable of keeping up with modern traffic and provide a joyful driving experience. They are definitely finding their place in the classic market as of late. HPi clear and runs and drives very well.
