Short story:
I am offering one of only 16 Bentley examples prepared by Halse Enterprises — a company that, together with Mulliner and Justin, was among the leading British specialists in coachbuilding at that time.
In 1987 the car held an official RAC Motor Sports Association licence and competed in several prestigious events, including:
• Norwich Union RAC Classic at Silverstone
• British Grand Prix at Silverstone
• Lombard RAC Rally
• British Rallycross GP at Brands Hatch
Halse cars were so well executed that in the 1970s they were sold by the prestigious London dealer Vintage Automobiles of London.
Registered as a historic vehicle on yellow plates.
The lightweight Speedster body (approx. 1200 kg) combined with the excellent 4¼-litre Straight Six F-Head engine delivers great performance and enormous driving pleasure.
The car is preserved in original Halse Special specification, with well-maintained mechanics and a nice natural patina.
