1965 Morris mini cooper 970S
Tweed grey / old English white
Registered at Haslemere garages Guildford in January 1965
3 former owner the first was an RAF serviceman who took it to Cyprus for its first 7 years, it was the purchased by its second owner who transferred the original number plate to the current.
Apparently restored by its 2nd owner circa 2013. Bought by its 3rd owner in a well known auction (Iconic) who sold it to me in December 2023.
I have 4 classic minis and show this one.
The restoration tried to source/ keep original parts.
Has some very minor paintwork/ bodywork issues (very small)
Heritage certified.
Used as often as the weather allows, even in Winter. Regular show attender in the North only.
New mini project forces sale sadly. Only 100 or so registered 970S cars left
Even fewer in this original colour.
Meticulously maintained by local classic mini garage (serviced yearly in May)
