Description
Lovely classic Saab 900i 16v (150hp) in its original specification. A late 1992 convertible with the extended wraparound rear rubberised spoiler to the front door mirrors. Owned for 13 years and bought originally from Brightwells auction Leominster. Great driving car in lovely condition, red has stayed bright, had the boot lid resprayed early in ownership. Power hood and windows all work as they should, hood typical of age with a small patch repair but doesn’t leak at all, very useable. Grey velour seats in good condition and comes with the black tonneau cover. The car has been garaged, very much a third car for occasional use but cherished throughout our ownership. Tow bar came with the car just used for a camping trailer now and again. Radio cassette replaced with a CD unit but have the radio cassette unit it came with. Comes with the original book pack and MOTd until October, but if the new owner would like a new MOT I can put one on. If you know these cars, the usual places are solid, ie leading edges on bonnet, driveshaft tunnels, door bottoms. Engine runs great, no gearbox issues. Genuine useable daily classic, can just jump in and go. Great buy with this low mileage and condition, reason for sale is downsizing and won’t have garage space at the new property. After purchasing the cylinder head was overhauled at a specialist after they'd diagnosed a slight running fault. Battery and radiator replaced and original alarm disconnected. Central locking inoperative when alarm was removed but could probably be brought back to life if you wanted. Aforementioned patch to hood for aesthetics then just routine servicing, it's been a very reliable car otherwise. Unfortunately no receipts/ invoices come with the car.
