I am the second owner of this 1995 Saab 9000 CSE manual. It has been mine since 1st May 2007 when I purchased it from Steve Lewis (Saab Specialist)
I have made improvements gradually over the years in conjunction with David Greenwood at Saabflight
The engine now produces 300bhp with 260ft/ lb. Torque
A brand new Mitsubishi TD04 Turbo replacing the original Garret Turbo together with Stage 3 ECU re-map and 3" JT Exhaust System.
Fitted with the Aero Clutch and Flywheel.
Suspension is Abbott Racing Green Springs with Koni Adjustable Dampers and SAS 1" dia Antiroll Bars front and back.
Goodridge Stainless Overbraided Brake Lines.
17" AZEV wheels with recent Michelin Pilot Sport 5 Tyres
Polybushed Suspension and engine mounts.
Aero Seats electric adjustable and heated fronts.
A folder of Servicing Receipts past MOT's etc confirms the mileage which was at 62. 5k when I bought it in 2007 and I have put the 72. 5k on it in 19 years (It's always been my other Saab as I have run a 9000 auto as my daily driver since 2000)
Only selling as I have now entered my 70's and to be honest it's a bit too much car for me. I have acquired a 9-3 convertible auto to go with the 9000 auto and with a weak left leg, the auto gearbox suits me better now.
This has been very satisfying to create what I think is an ultimate 9000 and it still puts a smile on my face when I take it out. It's so willing to go and the handling so precise completely opposite characteristics to my 9000 CSE 2. 3t auto
At a Save Saab Meeting some years ago Erik Carlsson signed the drivers side sun visor. (So you will drive with the Great Man's approval)
