A London car from new, it has largely been spared heavily salted winter roads. As a result, the underside is in good condition and the body is corrosion-free.
Since coming to us in Edinburgh, it has covered up to 1000 miles a year (sometimes much less) and has been kept under a car port.
The bodywork is very solid, although, in keeping with nearly three decades of city life, there are various marks and scratches. I've pictured the worst of these.
The interior is generally tidy, although the headlining needs replacing, the driver's seat has a rip on the bolster and the seam on the seat base is split.
I'm selling the car on behalf of my father-in-law, who now lives in Normandy. He very kindly lent it to us as a bit of a "lifeboat" while our two Saab 9-5s were taking turns being needy.
It's now surplus to requirements - although typing that feels rather like tempting fate...
